Children Of Bodom's Gigantour Setlist Revealed

The third installment of the U.S. Gigantour — the acclaimed traveling heavy music festival launched in 2005 by Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine — officially launched last night (Saturday, April 12) in Denver, Colorado with headliner Megadeth, Swedish metal band In Flames, Finland's Children Of Bodom, Arizona's modern extreme act JOB FOR A COWBOY and Oakland, CA heavy power trio High On Fire. The 29-date trek will criss-cross North America and is scheduled to wrap May 22 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Children Of Bodom's setlist for the Denver concert was as follows:

01. Six Pounder
02. Living Dead Beat
03. In Your Face
04. Hate Me!
05. Hellhounds On My Trail
06. Angels Don't Kill
07. Blooddrunk
08. Downfall

Children Of Bodom's new album, "Blooddrunk", has been certified gold in Finland for sales in excess of 15,000 copies. After a number one single last month, the band has again stormed the Finnish chart, with "Blooddrunk" going gold on pre-sales alone, before it has even been officially released — a first for the band.

The CD, which is scheduled for release in North America on April 15 via Spinefarm/Fontana International, is available as a full-album stream on the band's MySpace page.

aww only 8 songs? I wouldn't worry about the setlist being the same but it will prolly have the same AYDY? songs, luckily i like those two. I became a fan not until after the release so the difference between the older CoB and newer doesn't really bother me i guess

Firewind Raging :
It's a shame that they only got to play 8 songs, considering what a solid back catalogue they have under their belts

My IDEAL Bodom setlist would be (if 8 tracks is the max):
Warheart (with the sample at the beginning)
Needled 24/7
In Your Face
Blooddrunk
Mask of Sanity
We're Not Gonna Fall
Hate Crew Deathroll
Downfall

My choices from Blooddrunk would probably be a bit different after I listen to the album a few more times though.

That is not a great setlist, missing Lake Bodom and Silent Night, the inclusion of Hellhounds is a good thing but the AYDY? songs really don't need to be there especially not Sixpounder.

They didn't play Lake Bodom, Silent Night or Hate Crew Deathroll when I saw them in London last month, and they had a hell of a long set then.
Fucking shame, as those songs are orgasmic. Hope they haven't got fed up of playing them

...they play those songs at EVERY show. i wish they would play some blooddrunk tracks along with stuff like hatebreeder, chokehold, the nail, red light in my eyes 1 or 2...the stuff that they never play.
