Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell is counting his blessings after a truck careered into his motorcycle in Los Angeles, according to SFGate.com.
The rocker was thrown off his bike and suffered severe cuts and bruises after the accident on Tuesday (Oct. 24).
Although his $50,000 Exile Chopper was smashed beyond repair, Cornell walked away from the crash scene without any serious injuries and returned to work within hours.
A spokesperson tells
Page Six, "
Chris escaped with very little injury considering the severity of the accident.
"Later that day, he returned to the studio to record his new solo album."
