Courtney Love has covered Jay-Z's classic hit "99 Problems" - scroll down to watch her take on the song.
According to NME, the singer performed "99 Problems" during an intimate gig at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah on January 22 and fan footage has now surfaced on YouTube. Before she begins her version of the rap classic, Love says: "This either sucks or it's genius, I don't know."
During her last-minute Sundance show, Love also performed Hole favourites including "Miss World", "Skinny Little B-tch" and "Northern Star". She released her last album with the band, "Nobody's Daughter", in 2010.
Back in October, Love told Rolling Stone that she was planning to release a new single called "This Is War" on February 7. Describing the track at the time, she said:
"I'd put it out right now because it's a two-minute, 59-second song and it's sick, slamming, great. I think it'll go Number One in the UK. However, in the United States, who f--king knows? I never thought I'd put out a 130, 135 BPM song. It's a really fast rock song. I'm telling you, it's probably the greatest rock song I've ever heard."
I guess she thinks that nobody knows who Patti Smith is, the whole 'using the word nigger' and being a white woman was done a long time ago, and it was done so, so much better.
Not to mention her singing is a cheap rip off of Patti as well.
