Of all the things a man with a reputation like Glenn Danzig's could be sued for, you'd think that traffic incidents would be at the bottom of the list. But the former Misfits singer just might be making a court appearance on charges of reckless driving.
Papers filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on June 25 by a resident named Guy Wilson claim that sometime in January, Danzig rear-ended Wilson's car, according to Blabbermouth.
TMZ reports Wilson described the incident as a "
reckless crash" on the part of the rockstar, and claims he has since suffered "
pain" and "
emotional distress" because of the incident.
Wilson is suing for an unspecified amount, but we get the feeling that he'll be milking his "emotional distress" for all it's worth. There's no word yet about exactly what kind of injuries he sustained in the accident.
Danzig has yet to release an official statement in response to the charges.
Danzig's new album Deth Red Saboath has just come out.
