Death Cab For Cutie Singer To Star In Film

Death Cab For Cutie singer Ben Gibbard is to make his film debut in the forthcoming film "Brief Interviews With Hideous Men". The film is directed by John Krasinski, who stars in the US version of "The Office". The film stars "Saturday Night Live"'s Will Forte, "That 70's Show" actress Mila Kunis and "The Office" actor Rashida Jones.

Gibbard is currently working on new songs, and the band are set to begin recording the follow up to 2005's "Plans".

The band are also up for two Grammys.

"I Will Follow You Into The Dark" is nominated in the Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and their DVD "Directions" is up for Best Long Form Music Video.

he's not playing a lead role, starring means acting in a film, doesn't have anything to do with lead. He is playing a small part in the movie, but i'm still looking forward to it because i am a HUGE office fan
