Deep Purple to Perform Free Concert in Las Vegas
Deep Purple will play a free concert at the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas this Friday, August 15, Hennemusic reports.

The event, part of the Rock of Vegas summer concert series, will see the band perform on the 3rd Street Stage at 9 pm.

Fremont Street Experience, a five-block entertainment district located in historic downtown Las Vegas features Viva Vision, the world's largest video screen - 1,500 feet long, 90 feet wide and suspended 90 feet above the urban pedestrian mall. Viva Vision features nightly light and sounds shows with 12.5 million LED lights and a 550,000-watt sound system.

Deep Purple are currently playing shows on a month-long series of dates across North America.

The group has recently been working on new music for the follow-up to 2013's "Now What?!" album.
