Dirty Pretty Things Frontman Breaks Collarbone

Dirty Pretty Things have been forced to draft in a new member after frontman and guitarist Carl Barat broke his collarbone, according to NME.com.

Josh Hubbard from The Paddingtons will temporarily take over Barat's duties on guitar after it was confirmed the star suffered the injury in Taiwan last week.

As a result of the change, no dates will be cancelled, although it is not clear how long Hubbard will be with the band.

The band's American tour started yesterday (August 8) in Los Angeles.

The full list of dates are as follows:

08/08 - Los Angeles Henry Fonda Theatre
08/09 - San Francisco Slim's
08/11 - Chicago Schubas Tavern
08/13 - Boston Great Scott
08/14-15 - New York Bowery Ballroom

I saw him last nite in Los Angeles and he played guitar for one song (France). He was more than well enough to perform. They played 3 Libertines songs btw(Death on the Stairs, France, and I Get Along) so expect some classics. And I know I'm bragging, but I caught his hat!
