Drummer Mistakenly Murdered

In a tragic case of mistaken identity, the 23-year-old drummer for metal band Exsanguination Throne has been murdered in the Dominican Republic.

José Carlos Hernández was attacked by a group of me outside a pub in Santo Domingo and was stabbed more than 27 times early on Sunday morning.

Three men aged between 24 and 28 have been arrested in connection with the attack.

According to Blabbermouth (via Listin Diario), a suspect who was arrested with a 10-inch knife used in the attack told police that the group mistakenly thought Hernández had raped a woman they knew last month.

Hernández would perform as the character "Asmodeo Nefastdrum Shiva" and can be seen in the image and video below.
