Duff Ready To Reunite With GN'R

Velvet Revolver's bass guitarist Duff McKagan says he's open to hooking up with Guns 'N' Roses again and, of course, Axl Rose - as long as it's not too chaotic.

And he intends seeing Australia on a Harley-Davidson when his band tours next month.

Speaking to Qconfidential from a beachside bar in Maui where he ordered a cocktail during the interview, Duff said he and Slash had discussed a possible Guns 'N' Roses show.

"It would be a lot of fun as long as it was on a fun level and say just 10 shows to huge crowds," Duff said.

"But we're not really hanging around for a call or with our breath held."

Duff's more immediate focus is Velvet Revolver's show on December at the Brisbane Convention Centre.

The band has visas for their visit Down Under, unlike their tour of Japan which had to be cancelled because they were denied visas.

All there has been is words. They should do atleast something. If Slash n' Duff are up for it, Izzy would definitely come back. If that ever happens (its a pretty big IF) then trust me. They'll ditch Wieland and you'll have a reunion.

And if Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Guns N' Roses and Metallica all release their albums at once, Rock is back on the map. Good to atleast imagine though, lol

Slash has already stated numerous times there would have to be many conditions, most important a mutual respect for one another. They all have their egos so it's highly unlikely. I would love to see Slash and Izzy play together. The whole band had great chemistry (even Axl, although he could sure use a halls, or vicks, or broom to clear the cat out of his throat). The drummer situation is a little more sticky. I say go with Sorum, since he's the more talented of the two, and was in the band fore more albums, and is in VR so he still plays with Duff and Slash. They are going to be offered A LOT of money and put aside their problems, slash and axl will do anything for 40 million dollars.
And I heard all of chinese democracy and its not good.. It has 2 or 3 ok songs, but they are missing that edge that slash duff izzy and steven gave gnr. It the same thing with Velvet Revolver, I mean of course its great but its not even close to appetite or even use your illusions. They will get back together I know 3 out of the 5 members are on board so far. Lets just hope is sooner than later.
