It sort of adds a whole new dimension to spoiling your kids. Or, it could be nephatism (which I may have spelt wrong). Or he could just be awesome, which is definitely possible, given his genes.
Apparently, Eddie started out on drums and Alex on geetar.

"Hey dad, can I have some of the groupies in my room tonight?"
"How many are there?"
"Only 2 son, give one to me."

"No son, it's for your own good..."

You gotta think man. If your father was a great guitarist, how much do you think you would have learned from him over the years. Age doesnt matter. I saw an eight year old asian kid shred the hell out of a guitar, he was eight and could've killed me in a face-off.

Eddie was a guitar prodigy (able to basically be fantastic with very little training or no training at all.)

Wolfgang Mozart was a child prodigy (he wrote epic pieces at like, 9. lol)

So naming your child Wolfgang is like hoping he will be a prodigy as well.

Yeah, I just looked at some recent pictures of Ed. His teeth are brown and looked kind of strung out. It's pretty gross. Although, not Shane MacGowan gross...as far as the teeth goes.

um..I dont know, this kind makes VH a lot less cool. Now its predominatley a family thing. Brothers in a group is one thing, but now your kids? Whats next their wives and grandparents? I don't think you can really remove the original formula...without mike or dave, this band has been anything but rock n roll...just a family business now. Also wouldn't you hate being the only member not related? Dave barely would have say now if he rejoined...imagine being bossed around by a fifteen year old kid. I hope dave doesn't join because of this...he should keep his pride and stay being a paramedic.

Yeah, Wolfie's going to be the guy here before too long. Eddie's basically taught Wolfgang everything he knows and as Wolf gets older and more creative, not to mention even better at guitar. He'll take over the jobs of Vai, Eddie, Petrucci and Satriani. Granted Wolfgang had the best possible situation to start out with. It'll be fun to watch.

I like this for a couple reasons, i bet he will be a good bassist because he probably plays all the time with his dad. and Van Halen bass lines are mostly simple.

The main reason i like this thou is because he will hopefully keep Eddie in line and keep eddie from getting smashed before every concert and he will hopefully keep eddie from beating up dave in the middle of songs.

man wolfy is a drummer. im suprised hes playing bass, probably because hes ****ing aweful at guitar (yes its true, my friend goes to school with him), and relatively good on drums.

watch some live videos of him and then tell me he's awful you dumb shit. he is not drummer. and about your friend going to school with him, you are full of bullshit. what school does he got to?
