The members of metal band Fear Factory narrowly escaped certain death when their bus caught fire on Thursday morning, according to Blabbermouth.com. After playing a show in Sheffield, during their tour of England, the band were traveling to London when the bus driver noticed smoke coming from one of the back wheels.
According to Dino Cazares, the driver "stopped, jumped out and noticed a flame underneath the wheel well. He tried to extinguish it, but the flames were too much.
"Everyone was woken up by one of our crew yelling get everyone up and out of the bus," Cazares said. "Everyone grabbed [their] bags and ran off the bus. We stood on the side of the freeway going, ‘Thank God we all made it out’ until someone noticed our merchandise guy was still asleep on the bus so our good friend ran back on the smoke-filled bus and got him out just minutes before the bus was completely in flames."
The bus was engulfed in about 20 minutes, he said. The band’s trailer, containing all their gear, was saved, but everything on the bus is gone.
"Some of us lost wallets, money, computers etc.," Cazares said. "But that’s not important compared to our lives."
Fear Factory are on a tour of the U.K. to support their new album, Mechanize.
Thanks for the report to Bryan Wawzenek, Gibson.com
The exact same thing happened to my class in the 4th grade... The bus started to catch on fire but all the kids got out in time... some got a few burns... (The road in the video looks kinda the same, next to a big field)...
thankfulyl they were ok but that looks liek an act of god to me wherever they were headed it seems like they didn't need to be there. that or a crazy fan caught afire sneaking onto the bus (i am sooo going to hell for that)

Yes, God tried to kill them in order to stop them from heading to their next tour destination.
That, or it was a fault with the bus. Wonder which situation is more likely
i just wish dino's eight string pice of shot was still on the bus.
whats wrong with 8 strings....[/quote]
Nothing at all.... unless Dino is using one, then it turns into a game of "how fast can I play the lowest registering note on a guitar and call it music" instead of utilizing the tonal range that the added strings give a player.
