Gallagher Brothers Not Talking

Liam and Noel Gallagher are not speaking - again, reports Ananova. Liam stormed off stage during a gig in Italy and left the group to sing three songs without him.

According to The Sun Noel said: "I don't talk to Liam any more. I can't. It always ends up in a fight. He screams like some juvenile to get attention. It's so sad. He's so defiant all the time. Lately it's been like he's lost interest."

The group's album Don't Believe The Truth is currently at No 2 in the album charts.

Well FWIW I think Oasis' first two LPs were two of the best records of the '90s. I can think of very, very few other albums on which every single song I could listen to repeatedly and not get irritated (well, if it was for long enough I suppose I would). The third album was over-hyped, then became underrated because it was actually good, but not good enough for some.

Everything after that has been a shambles for me, the latest album seems to consist of songs with this terrible dirgey drone all the way through.

And I don't like Noel much more than Liam - his interview on Jonathan Ross' show, no matter what you say about them 'not being the same in private', showed him up for the immature cock he now is. On a show about Britpop quite recently, whereas Jarvis Cocker chose to conduct his interview in a dingy bedroom with net curtains, the Gallaghers did theirs from within a giant palace, sitting on thrones, calling their fans '***in' strange'.

Sorry, and feel free to like Oasis as they are now, as if I could really stop anyone, but for me they lost it years ago. Which is a great shame because they are potentially still massively talented.
