God Wants Brian Welch To 'Save' 50 Cent

Former Korn rocker Brian "Head" Welch is trying to "save" 50 Cent after God told him to contact the rapper.

Welch, who quit the heavy rock act to devote his life to Christianity, insists he was driven to write a letter to 50.

He tells the Examiner.com, "I felt like he (God) told me to go to 50 Cent and write a letter to him, and tell him Jesus wants to save him.

"I was like, 'Alright, God!' And I went and found his jeweller. I bought some diamonds off of him and I gave him a note and he was like, 'I'm gonna go see 50 in, like, three days...' I go, 'Give him this note.'

"It was a long letter, saying Jesus wants to save him."

I wanted to read his book, but I just can't pull myself to it. I used to love Korn, but he's gone off the deep end with his religion stuff. Granted, yes, it got him off of the drugs, which I commend, but jeez, does he have to start a crusade to 'save' people now?

Now, if he could save us all from hearing anymore of 50 Cent's music, I will be ok with it, just don't make it a religious crusade.

This is old news. Nothing new about it.

And honestly, it's this kinda sh*t that causes me to lose respect for Head. I like the album, and can even stomach the overly religious lyrics because the music is good and I feel vocalists should have free roam on lyrical content, but this is ridiculous.

I don't like much rap, but 50 cent is a grown man and he'll do whatever he likes. I doubt very much he was humbled by a scribbled note about how Jesus wants to save him from a burnt out rocker, which was given to him when he went to buy bling at his jeweler's shop.
