Pop Punk band Good Charlotte recently played in Brisbane, Australia. Two songs into their set, bass player Paul Thomas tripped and fell off the stage where they were playing. He sprained his ankle, got up, and continued playing.
After the concert, Thomas was sent to a hospital for X-rays just to be on the safe side. There were no broken bones. Wendy Tucker, a spokesmwoman for their label Sony BMG, commented on the incident:
"
I did see him take a fairly nasty fall in what I think was the second or third song, and he kind of stood up and kept playing."
Good Charlotte will continue for the rest of their tour, hopefully with no bumps, bruises, or sprains.
