James Blunt Not Retiring
James Blunt has debunked reports that he is retiring from music. It turns out that his comment "I haven't got any plans to do more songwriting" was taken out of context by the Daily Mail. James had a sense of humor about the rumor which went viral on Monday, and wrote on his Facebook page: "James Blunt has split up due to musical differences. Neither could be reached for comment due to recording commitments." As the post suggests, it seems he's actively recording new music, as it was tagged to Conway Recording Studios in Hollywood. Blunt shot to fame in 2005 with his song "You're Beautiful", which was some felt was overplayed on television and radio. In turn, he was rated the "forth most annoying thing ever" in a 2006 poll, where he was beaten by queue jumpers, caravans and telemarketers. Does Blunt deserve all the criticism, or does he deserve more respect for his work as a musician and soldier? Let us know your view in the comments.
