Jane's Addiction To Reunite

A proper reunion may be in the cards for Jane's Addiction, frontman Perry Farrell told Nme.com.

The band, who were named Nme's Godlike Geniuses and performed together for the fist time in 17 years at the Nme Awards USA in Los Angeles in April, are planning to meet to discuss getting back together.

"I sure would be open for it now," Farrell told Nme.com. "It sounds exciting to me as a listener. I just like to go out with people I think make beautiful music. As I say, we're not making war, we're making music, so how bad could it be?"

Farrell admitted that bringing together the strong personalities of bandmates Dave Navarro, Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins wouldn't be easy.

"We've got to figure out a common ground," Farrell said. "Jane's Addiction is a very inflammable group - there's a lot of very strong personalities. But I still think it would be worth it to get Jane's Addiction together because the people and the party that could ensue from that would be so amazing it's worth making up over."

When asked what it would take to bring the band back together, Farrell responded, "Meetings. We're actually gonna have a meeting - it's planned for sometime soon. But I'm not promising anything. One day I could just get so hot I could think I can't do it. But I'm probably old enough now that I think I can do it."

This is a joke. Its only been like what 2-3 years? Some bands (that havnt even split up) don't put out records or tour for longer then that. this band "reunites" all the time.

These guys aren't the same band they used to be anyway. Dave navarro just seems like a huge tool, their image is tarnished.

Actually, it was two of the four. Eric Avery wasn't in Panic Channel. It was their bassist from the Strays era, which sucked donkey dong.

I don't know about this. Dave Navarro is a pretty smart guy to either choose to reunite or not. Farrell's new band really sucks, so I think they should bring back Jane's Addiction.

I have seen them so many times. I love their music. But I think this is probably a bad idea. Their last album Strays was awful and it isn't 1987 anymore.

I hope they forget about it and move on.
