Keith Richards Tells Amy Winehouse 'Get Your Act Together'

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has offered some friendly advice to fellow musician Amy Winehouse.

Asked at the Berlin International Film Festival - where he’s promoting new Martin Scorsese Rolling Stones documentary ‘Shine A Light’ – whether he had advice for Amy and her battle with drugs, Richards answered, "She should get her act together.”

The veteran rocker – no stranger to addictive substances himself – then helpfully added, “Apart from that, I have got nothing to say to the bitch."

Winehouse checked out of a two week stint in rehab on Friday in order to prepare for her live-via-satellite performance on tonight’s Grammys, where she’s up for six gongs.

she's only doing this for attention and it's working and Keith surely knows this, hence the "Apart from that i've got nothing to say to the bitch" the question was a trap of course and Keith is just smart enough to recognize this, good for him.

thats whats so messed up with the world you have all of these stars screwing their lives up with drugs, and at the same time they're being awarded for it. Give credit to the one's who really deserve it.

It's kinda unneccessary to throw in the bitch part. I'm sure everyone understood what he meant without being childish and insulting her. I'm not a huge fan of her (although some of her songs are good), but Keith is kinda being a douche here. She does need to get her shit together though.

yes but he didn't cancel many of the stones performances and perform terribly to the playing crowd.

no matter how ****ed he was he always put on a bloody good show. I dought he'd have a problem if she was always singing and performing brilliantly.
