Kings Of Leon have cancelled the US tour after frontman Caleb Followill had to walk off stage to throw up.
During the gig on Friday in Dallas, Caleb said "My voice is 100% completely wrong. I'm sorry. I'm about to fall down here because I'm so goddamn hot... I'm gonna vomit. I'm gonna drink a beer and I'm gonna come back out here and I'm gonna play three more songs."
But the singer didn't reappear.
"We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are canceling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion", said an official statement (via Gigwise). "The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break."
"The band is devastated but in order to give the fans the shows they deserve they need to take this break. Unfortunately, the US dates cannot be rescheduled due to the band's international tour schedule. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase."
Bassist and brother Jared Followill then sparked speculation that the band were headed for a split, writing on twitter: "There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed... I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade."
Jared later added on Twitter that he was "utterly depressed", then joked that the band were splitting up - playing on the rumours of a potential schism in the band.
It is not the first time that bad luck has forced the band off stage. The Mirror report that in July 2010, the band were forced off stage when a flock of pigeons pooed on stage from the venue's rafters - with a blob landing in Jared's mouth.
