Korn, Blink-182, Linkin park, The Distillers and Jet will play famed Los Angeles radio station KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas shows next month.
The offspring, Jane's Addiction, Puddle Of Mudd, and AFI also join the bill of the event which takes place at the Universal Ampitheatre on December 13/14. Tickets for the event went on sale Thursday night (November 20), before the line up was released, and sold out in under ten minutes.
Proceeds for the gigs will support charities including the Al Wooten Jr Heritage Center, Children of the Night and Innercity Arts.
Last year’s event made headlines around the world when Audioslave made their official live debut to a crowd of around 5,000. Other highlights included an animal suit donning Craig Nicholls joining Beck, Juliette Lewis, Coldplay and the Flaming Lips to sing Band Aid’s 'Do They Know it’s Christmas (Feed the World)', Coldplay’s triumphant performance, a tight, quick set by Queens Of The Stone Age, and fans protesting headliners Creed.
