Lamb Of God and their rock star friends are supporting the Randy Blythe Legal Fund by selling many of their own prized possessions in an online auction.
Their frontman spent more than a month behind bars in the Czech Repubic after being accused of manslaughter in late June. His bail has already cost $400,000 — twice his annual salary — but legal fees continue to stack up.
Now the band are selling personal items including guitars, basses, drum kit parts and Blythe's microphones. All items were used on tour, in the recording studio or in a video.
Other items in the sale include a Slash guitar, a Megadeth bass, a painting commissioned by Gwar and a skateboard from Five Finger Death Punch.
You can browse the full auction listings on the Randy Blythe Legal Fund ebay page.
Blythe was freed on August 2 and immediately returned to the US, but has sworn to return to Prague to face his accusers. In a statement following his release, he said: "While I consider the charge leveled against me ludicrous and without qualification, my opinion makes no difference in this matter … I will act with honor, and I will fight to clear my good name."
Meanwhile, the band will do their best to tour live and appeared at the Slipknot Knotfest on August 17 where Blythe told the crowd: "I’ve been away for a little bit, but I’m back now.”
