Liam Gallagher Accuses Noel Of 'Swiping' Oasis Songs For Solo Album

In this ever-changing world we live in, one thing music lovers can always count on is that the feud between brothers and ex-Oasis bandmates Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher will never die.

The famous Gallagher brothers are in the news once again. Contact Music is reporting that in the newest issue of Uncut Magazine, Liam accuses Noel of stealing songs from Oasis jam sessions for his upcoming album.

"I've heard his f---king new record 'cos I f---ing sung on half of it!"

Liam, who now fronts Beady Eye, says his brother is using stolen tracks recorded for the group's album "Dig Out Your Soul" for his solo LP.

"When I was in America for 'Dig Out Your Soul' he swiped some [tracks] off it because he obviously knew he wanted to do a solo album. So he can talk all the bulls--t about, 'Oh, I was intimidated,' and all that. F---ing nonsense. Behave. He knows. The people know. And I know. So no, it's not better and it won't get any f---ing better."

Oasis broke up in 2009 after Noel Gallagher quit the band following a backstage fight with his brother before a performance at Paris' Rock en Seine festival.

na, not really, at least not to me. i have to say, that i dont like either of them. at least hetfield and mustaine have written good music, which, in my really humble opinion, none of the gallagers have. they're just so full of themselves, that even the media finds it funny to put articles (like this one) up.

Actually it's worse, Mustaine and Hetfield at least had the respect for each other as artists to not complain about each other using songs they'd written together, James Hetfield is credited on Killing is my Business And Business is Good for Mechanix, and Dave Mustaine is credided on Seek and Destroy for The Four Horsemen and a couple of others. Here Liam's bitching about songs that I doubt he had any hand in writing, considering he's written one or two songs per album since Standing on the Shoulders of Giants, and Noel is well aware that he doesn't need to steal anything that Liam wrote.

Noel probably wrote every song on the album anyway, so it's unfair to accuse him of stealing when they're his own songs. Well, I'm hoping for a good album from Noel. I've not exactly been blown away by much of his recent stuff, but he's written some of my favourite songs of all time in the past.

Well, apart from that, I can guarantee that this has nothing to do with artistic integrity. It's Liam's realization that he f*cked up by losing his main song writer. Instead of wanting to man up, he's going to accuse him of stealing their songs in hopes that he can gain access to these songs via rights. This is nothing more than a greedy, badly thought out plan to try and get songs.

He's not swiping songs he wrote...Liam Gallagher needs to get over himself (fat chance). His schtick was being able to sing sorta like Lennon on "Rain" and "Tomorrow Never Knows", but he can't even do that very well anymore. His own songs are VERY rudimentary...Of course Noel's own style has consisted of meshing Lennonesque chords, Kinks-esque melodies T-rex/Bowie rhythms and Pistols-ish distortion into something barely resembling an original style. whatever the case,yeah, everyone's sick of their comically inflated senses of worth/ability and constant bickering.

I want Beady Eye to suck, I expected them to suck to be honest...but if I'm perfectly honest with myself, the 3 songs I've heard are better than any Oasis song written by Noel Gallagher since 2000. The only Liam Gallagher written Oasis songs I feel are better than the Beady Eye tracks are "Boy With the Blues" and "I'm Outta Time", which in themselves were written with Gem Archer (secondary songwriter of Beady Eye).

The Oasis split was good for both parties. Hopefully Noels record will be better than the songs he's written since 2000.

Heavily disagree, Dig Out Your Soul was a brilliant album, and I've disliked everything since Morning glory except the odd track Noels sung or played acoustic. The 3 Beady Eye tracks available the only one i thinks alright is Four Letter Word. Bring The Light is terrible, and The Roller is crap as well. I think its about time Liam stopped trying to slag every one off to gain his own fame. He was in NME before christmas just slating everyone, even Tame Impala who i think at the moment are one of the best sounding bands around.

And the songs Liam is talking about Noel swiping were left off Dig Out Your Soul because Liam left the sessions in LA early to return to England to buy a house. Noel wrote them so its not like he's swiping them, the last Oasis album was excellent until track 7 because the first half of it was loaded with songs Noel wrote and the second half with Liam/Gem/Andy's songs which were poor
