According to Gigwise, Liam Gallagher recently hosted a launch party for his new clothing label Pretty Green where he tried to persuade Miles Kane to form a band with him.
The Oasis frontman spent most of the evening chatting to Kane of The Last Shadow Puppets about starting a band together. One source stated "Liam was being really passionate. It looked like he was recruiting."
The Last Shadow Puppets was a side-project created by
Kane and
Arctic Monkeys frontman
Alex Turner. Under the name, the duo released
The Age Of The Understatement, a debut album that received mediocre reviews but did well on the UK Albums Chart and several Billboard Charts.
Kane was also the former singer/guitarist of
The Rascals who broke up earlier this year.
Other attendees at the launch party included Richard Ashcroft, Kasabian and Liam Howlett and Keith Flint of The Prodigy.
