Lisa Tucker Voted Off American Idol |

Sixteen-year-old Lisa Tucker was voted off "American Idol" on Wednesday, with viewers clearly agreeing with judges who slammed her rendition of 2002 Idol winner Kelly Clarkson's ballad "Because of You," reports AP.
Tucker's ouster trimmed the hopefuls to nine. The final Idol will be crowned May 24.
Judge Simon Cowell said during Tuesday's program that Tucker's theatrical performance of Clarkson's song was " painful," and the song " too big" for her voice.
After Wednesday's vote, Tucker told host Ryan Seacrest she was "happy with the decision."
Surviving elimination were Katharine McPhee and Ace Young, who had the next-lowest vote tallies.
McPhee, 21, chose the right song for her soulful voice, but unexpectedly hit a wrong note with viewers. Considered a favorite in the competition, McPhee's take on Christina Aguilera's "The Voice Within" drew praise from Cowell in Tuesday's program.

I really cannot think of any reasonable explanation behind stories on American Idol, Three 6 Mafia and Paris Hilton (w/o any involvement to any rock artists) unless the organizers of the site thought this would be a cute little April Fool's joke. I've visited this site long enough to know that the people behind this normally wouldn't allow this to happen and that there are WAY too many pissed off bloggers who in turn wouldn't stand for it.
