Metallica, Slayer, Lamb of God Headlining Heavy Montreal 2014
The full lineup of this year's Heavy Montreal festival has been announced, confirming Metallica, Slayer and Lamb of God as the event's top headliners.

Set to take place on August 9 an 10 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, Quebec, the festival will also include performances from such major acts as the Offspring, Anthrax, Body Count and more.

As far as Metallica goes, the Heavy Montreal performance will mark the band's only 2014 summer show in North America. This goes along with frontman James Hetfield's comment that "metal is struggling in the US." You can check out the full lineup below, ticket info here.

In somewhat related news, Metallica have shared footage of their 1986 London concert for free download. The gig also features John Marshall on rhythm guitar, make sure to check it out here.
