Metallica Teams With The San Francisco Giants To Take On The Los Angeles Dodgers
When you win two World Championships in three years, you are allowed to go big. That is exactly what the San Francisco Giants will do when they face the foul scum known as the Los Angeles Dodgers during a Friday night home game later this year.

In what may be the greatest promotion in Major League Baseball history, AT&T Park will host Metallica night.

As you can see in the above flyer for the event, the two Bay Area powerhouses will join forces for a very special night on May 3rd. Before a massive smack down from Kung Fu Panda, Posey, and the rest of the defending Champions is executed against their arch rivals, fans will be treated to massive amounts of Metallica.

In addition to seeing select members of Metallica perform the "National Anthem" and throw out the ceremonial first pitch, Giants fans will receive a limited edition Metallica/Giants ball cap when they walk through the turnstiles. The best part is that a portion of the proceeds from this night besides the Bay will be donated to the Bill Graham Foundation.
