Morrissey Image Hidden Inside Google Earth

An image of Morrissey has been hidden on Google Earth, outside the Salford Lads Club in Manchester.

The iconic building features in The Smiths' video for "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before" and also on the cover of their album "The Queen Is Dead".

The pixilated image of the singer can be seen outside the club by going to the address of the club on Google Maps and enable 3D Buildings mode.

The 3D model of the Salford Lads Club was created by landscape architect Ste Allan, as part of Google's "Your World in 3D" campaign.

Meanwhile, Morrissey has joked that he is now known as "Mad Morrissey" following a string of much-publicised outbursts.

This year alone the former Smiths star has slammed the government, criticised coverage of the Royal Wedding and compared the Norway attacks in July to the actions of fast food companies.

Thanks for the report to Gigwise.com.
