Motorhead Launch Bastards Lager

A year after rock legends Motorhead launched their own brand of red wine – Motorhead Shiraz – the group has unveiled their own beer.

Bastards Lager is brewed by Swedish brewery Krönleins and can be ordered by the whole case from Systembolaget, the Swedish state liquor shop.

"You're never too old for rock 'n' roll and good chilled beer. That always works well together!" says Motorhead drummer Mikkey Dee.

The Bastards bottle is easily recognizable, as it features the world-famous Motorhead logo, along with the slogan: Beer Drinkers And Hell Raisers.

did it have to be lager? Seems like Motorhead would be more suited with rum or ale... Actually if Korpiklaani ever brought out any form of alcoholic drinks I would drink the **** out of it! Also Agalloch branded Mead would be pretty awesome to.

Selling out = changing your music style or look in order to gain public approval, fans, and money.
So the moment Motorhead starts sounding like KISS, or looking like Metallica, you can call them sell-outs.

I'd rather a band sells stuff like this, with their name on it, as opposed to using their music as their main or only source of income. That way, they won't be so inclined to dumb down or streamline their sound when money gets tight.
