Nickelback 'Work On Epicness'
The band everyone loves to hate comments on fans' YouTube in another attempt to smash their negative rep. Nickelback have taken another crack at trying to escape the label of world's most hated band in a light-hearted YouTube clip where they comment on messages left on their music videos. It's another charm offensive on the part of the Canadian four-piece after Black Keys drumer Patrick Carney recently said: "Rock'n'roll is dying because people became okay with Nickelback being the biggest band in the world." Chad Kroeger's outfit have been here before. At the time they tweeted: "Thanks to the Black Keys for calling us the biggest band in the world hehe." They've also taken part in previous videos which spoof their own reputation. This time, responding to a fan who asks: "How the f--k can you be so epic?" frontman Kroeger responds: "We work on our epicness. We went to epic school. We graduated with honours. Ryan has his masters in epicness." Then they encourage followers: "To comment on our comments on your comments, leave a comments. It's an upward spiral that sounds painful". But Kroeger fails to adequately explain the storyline to a promo in which a young man is trying to bring up a newborn baby on his own. The singer can't answer the question: "How did man feed baby? He have tits with milk?"
