Oasis guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher has confirmed that he hopes to record a solo album in the future.
The guitarist says that while he has numerous songs written for the record, he hopes that the rest of Oasis would also agree to work on their own individual projects after the release of their upcoming album, “Dig Out Your Soul”.
"
I'd like for us to do separate projects after this record," he told Blender Magazine. "
We'd all have to agree on it, so it will probably never happen. I've got loads of new songs. Somewhat predictably, they're all brilliant," he adds.
In addition to his solo aspirations, Noel has revealed that he has songs lying around that he would like to see used as the next James Bond theme.
Oasis’ seventh album, “Dig Out Your Soul”, will be released on October 6.
