It's been a crazy November for Nonpoint - they recently inked a record deal, announced a new album for spring 2012, and reported the departure of their guitarist and bassist, and all within 4 days.
Nonpoint has been working on the follow-up to 2010s "Miracle" and have amassed 31 new songs. The band just signed a record deal with Razor & Tie, vocalist Elias Soriano said this of the new deal:

Their aggressive staff and fresh plan of attack has us excited to get this record on the shelves and on the airwaves because I know they will reach for greatness and are as proud of being a part of this project as we are. Wefre very much looking forward to the next album cycle".
Perhaps he spoke too soon about the bandfs happiness, especially the "We" part. The ink wasnft even dry on their contracts when it was announced that guitarist Zach Broderick and founding bassist Ken MacMillan were no longer in the band, leaving only Soriano and drummer Robb Rivera. Broderick and MacMillan are said to be involved with a new project which they will announce soon.
Now Blabbermouth reports that Nonpoint have drafted members of the Chicago hard rock outfit Inn Cinema to fill the gaps in their roster - they are rumored to have been joined by guitarists Rasheed Thomas and Dave Lizzio as well as bassist Adam Woloszyn. New members or no, the band has decided to cancel their upcoming tour dates. While news of the member changes are new to the press, a statement on Nonpointfs Facebook page indicate that they may have been gone for a while:
"Elias and I (Robb) have been working hard on new music with the newest chapter of the band. We are 21 songs deep into the record with this new lineup and we will not disappoint you. We did not expect for this to go easy in any way, shape or form. We understand that fans of certain bands get attached to members of said bands but unfortunately times change. Nonpoint will continue with new people, thank you for your support and see you very soon. New album out on Razor & Tie coming Spring of 2012".
The details may be unclear on when the former members actually left, but the band seems certain that the personnel change will not affect the projected Spring 2012 release date. Soriano also promised they would post a video of the rehearsals with the new members soon, who you can see jamming in the pic at this location.
