Dragon Master :
Their first 3 Cds are all muses to draw upon, for any Britpop band. The Arctic Monkeys, the Editors, Kasabian, and the Music all tried to copy this band. Their thunder as a band was stolen by Coldplay and Radiohead, who relied on experimentalism, new ways of making new music. Oasis fell into the stigma that these two bands avoided. Eventually, Oasis would come back into popularity. Now, this may be their chance.

....and of course singing in the exact same restrained monotonous mind numbingly dull way, crap guitar work and a level of poncey, cringe inducing pretention that makes you want to vomit with contact embarasment anytime Thom or Chris give an interview. "we are the last band to treat music as an art form" No you are just ripping of every other bland un-imaginative "poor me, the cool kids wouldn't be my freinds at school" pre-emo band that went before you. That is not an art form.

Had to get that rant off my chest, but nah, RH and CP have created some great music, I just can't stand that middle of the road, whinging, self pitying, "music" that makes up the other 90% of thier songs. Radiohead that is, Coldplay don't tend to go down that route as much.

by the way. Mokey wrench by foo fighters. Pop meliodys, punk guitar work, self-loathing lyrics, shouty end bits.....did this song create emo?
