The latest Oasis best-of collection, "Time Flies 1994-2009," has gone into straight into the album charts at No. 1. The two-disc retrospective beat out the "Glee" cast to claim the top spot for the Manchester collective's first post-split release.
Meanwhile, ex-Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher had some harsh words for the England manager Fabio Cappello following the team's woeful World Cup performance against Algeria on Friday. "Before tonight everyone really respected him, but he's kind of turned into some kind of silly wizard," the rocker said on ITV's "World Cup Live" chat show following the 0-0 draw.
Gallagher isn't optimistic about England's chances in their next game on Wednesday either, where they will have to defeat Slovenia in order to progress to the knock-out stages of the tournament. "
If they couldn't beat Algeria tonight I cant see them beating Slovenia," he said. "
Slovenia are going to need to draw that game to go through, so they've got something to play for, it's all over."
