Oderus Urungus Congratulates Tim Lambesis
In the most surreal and edgy series of tweets all year, Gwar frontman Oderus Urungus has congratulated Tim Lambesis for making bail after his arrest for an alleged hitman plot against his wife. It's not clear if Urungus is playing up to his fictional character, or just trolling the media and public, but his choice of words is certainly causing a stir. "Congratulations to label-mate and cut MF #timlambesis for making bail bro! Now get out there and hire some people to chop us some b-tchess," it begins. "As far as the tracker-bracelet, I advocate getting one of similar size on the other leg. However, if the tracker is the latest model, made specifically for celebrities, then it's practically weightless. Comfy, even." Even Randy Blythe is targeted in one message, with references his manslaughter case from recent months in which he was found innocent: "C'mon Tim, whats the matter? At least in Richmond when we get charged with killing someone, we actually do it. #randyblythe" At first, Metal Sucks who spotted the story assumed it was a sarcastic attack on Lambesis, but Urungus replied to clarify his stance. Whether or not he's still playing up to his fictional character is up to you: "Now wait a minute! I am not mad at Tim! I offered my support and congratulations and they twist my words. This sucks more than the new Slayer album is going to."
Can you tell if Urungus is joking or not? Let us know what you think in the comments.
