One Bullet Left To Support Megadeth

Dutch outfit One Bullet Left, the self-proclaimed "Europe's youngest metal band," will support Megadeth at their exclusive club show in The Netherlands this summer on June 26 at Lucky & Co in Rijssen.

The group, whose members have an average age of 14, recently completed a series of appearances on the Dutch national TV program "Villa Live". Also recently uploaded is a five-minute promotional clip featuring One Bullet Left performing to more than 3,000 metalheads at Dauwpop 2007.

One Bullet Left has been confirmed for this year's installment of the Waldrock festival, set to take place July 7 in Bergum, Holland. Other acts scheduled to appear include Testament, W.A.S.P., Moonspell, Celtic Frost and Obituary.

One Bullet Left will enter the studio in the fall to record its debut album for an early 2008 release through an as-yet-undetermined label.

the singing was god awful, the drummer was insanely repetitive and uncreative, and the guitar work had absolutely no redeming qualities. maybe in a few years when they go through puberty but until then it's shamefull for them to open for a band as epic as Megadeth.

Yeah, I think silverchair released their first cd when they were like 15 or so and it was awesome. And they are still around today, but their music isn't anywhere near as good as it was when they were young, I thought it would have been the other way around. If this last bullet band is any good then they will likely be around for the years to come, but if they are a horrible gimmick like everyone here is saying, then I can't see them lasting very long. But this band must have at least some talent if they are opening for megadeth and priestess already. I don't know how big priestess is in the U.S. but they are pretty big in Canada right now and I can't see them having a crappy band opening for them, but who knows.

They are just screaming nonsense over a bunch of lame riffs, and it was too slow. Vocals suck, I actually like death metal vocals, but this sucks. They play ok, I mean they're 14. So I'm not looking for perfection. But they are not that good to open for Megadeth.But what is more interesting how did a band with ages of 14, with not so good music get popular enough that they would support Megadeth.

When I first read the title, I thought it was about that "Bullet For My Valentine" band. Then I headed off to find who "One Bullet Left" is...and wow, I must say, their parents must've paid A LOT of money for their kids to be playing with such awesome bands. It's nice to see kids listening to metal and all...but opening for Megadeth is a bit overboard, I think.

Uhh.... After watching their videos on utube i can truely say that the world of music is coming to an end. These kids are terrible!!! I know they're only 12 14 16.... and that's all good with me. But wtf is megadeath doing? That kid sounds like my dog when its playing with mr. fluffy. I haven't felt this bad since kurt killed himself. And i cried for days.... What's the world coming to?

I use to be one of those guys that would hate drop d tuning. But now that I play guitar and I like it. People only think it is bad because of all these nu metal bands that do it, but people were doing it well before then too. Drop D tuning makes powerchords easier to play and if they are easier to play then that means you can play faster and make more complexed stuff, but most bands just don't take advantage of that. Like you can still play scales and all this other stuff in drop d tuning. So what I'm trying to say is that drop d tuning isn't necessarily bad, it's just how bands these days use it. When I play alot of hendrix songs, I usually play in dadfbe (yeah i know, i use f instead of g, not a typo) and I find them easier to play in that tuning which means i can play them faster if i want to without messing up as much.

Also, I'm pretty sure led zeppelin's moby dick is played in drop d (but if it isn't then it is easier to play in drop d anyways) and I remember hearing in an interview somewhere that Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden likes to play some of their songs live in drop d tuning because it sounds better. It's just these nu metal or some of these death metal bands that are making drop d tuning look bad.

Their drummer doesn't seem to be able to hold the beat steady, it seems to fluctuate a little. If they're going from 4/4 to 6/8 or something like that, the drummer screws up.

I thought metal was supposed to have this face-melting guitar solos. Jesus, I can play those songs. If I knew it was so darn easy to headline for a major band, I'd be doing it, too. But I prefer to play music that is a little more, I dunno, complex.

Anybody can throw a few bass drums together, drop their E-string to make power chords easy (it didn't know power chords could get easier...), and start picking really fast. Oh, and then like a few pinches? What's that?

And the screaming. Where does this come from? I think that singers who scream need to relearn everything. It's not musical if that's all you do. Once in a while is okay.

It's perfectly okay to use dropped tunings. I use them once in a while. But if every one of your songs are just power chords in drop d, and without an interesting solo, I'm not gonna like it at all.
