If you’re a SiriusXM subscriber, prepare yourself for a blizzard of Ozz this winter. Music legend Ozzy Osbourne is getting his own satellite radio channel, called Ozzy’s Boneyard.
The station, launching later this year, will feature metal and hard rock, including music from Ozzy and Black Sabbath, alongside tunes from Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, AC/DC, Van Halen, Pantera and others. Ozzy will often serve as a host, as will other Osbourne family members Sharon, Jack and Kelly.
"
After everything I’ve been through in my career I never imagined I’d end up with my own radio channel on SiriusXM," Ozzy said in a statement. "
This is f-----g amazing! Does this mean I can play whatever I want?"
Perhaps the channel will help premiere the first new tracks from the reunited Black Sabbath, who have an album in the works with producer Rick Rubin and are preparing to tour next year.
