Paramore: 'Riot' Certified Platinum

Paramore’s sophomore release ‘Riot’ has just been certified platinum by the RIAA, with sales exceeded 1 million units in the US.

The album's success has been fueled by hits such as ‘Misery Business’ and ‘crushcrushcrush’.

Their current single ‘That’s What You Get’ is currently sitting at #29 on US Top 40 radio and continues to climb up the charts.

Finishing off supporting the album, the band will embark on their headlining tour ‘The Final Riot – Paramore Summer Tour ‘08’ on July 28 with Phantom Planet, Jack’s Mannequin, and Paper Route.

That's cool, Paramore's an alright band. Although I think that their drummer is a little overrated. And by a little I mean a lot. Hope they come to Utah.

^ Those are the two weakest songs on the album, yes. I think the opening track and "Born For This" are the best ones. Then again, this was a really weak album compared to their debut.

^I agree, I do hope their new album will be more like AWKIF. But that's well in the future anyway.
I wish they would have the 'Final Riot!' tour in the UK. I missed the last tour due to exams haha.

I admit Paramore is one of my favorite bands...but since RIOT! theyve pretty much gone down hill.
I miss the spazs they were when AWKIF was released.

Idk about the rest of you but they're my fav!! True AWKIF was different but they werent in the limelight then either. My dad wont let me see them cuz he's a jerk and he listens to Bob Marley..... nothing wrong with that but we are definately not jamerican.....we're from mich. and how is zac overrated?
