Pearl Jam has helped Google launch its new Google Music service by offering an exclusive content to users.
The highly anticipated new player in the online music marketplace launched in the U.S. on November 16, and Pearl Jam joins an handful of other major label artists who contributed exclusive content.
According to
NME.com, the service offers a mix of streaming audio and downloads both of which can be synced to a number of handheld devices including smartphones and music players.
Andy Rubin, Senior Vice President of Google's Mobile division, announced the service launch, saying: "Google Music helps you spend more time listening to your collection and less time managing it."
Other artist who have contributed exclusive content include The Rolling Stones, Coldplay, the Dave Matthews Band and Shakira.
