Phil Anselmo: 'I Don't Own a Phone, Don't Do Facebook or Any of That Sh-t'
The one and only Phil Anselmo definitely might strike you as an old-school kind of guy. Speaking of which, the former Pantera vocalist has recently discussed his traditional ways, pointing out he doesn't even own a phone.

Chatting with Metal Injection, Phil confirmed he "does not own a phone" and that he "swears off technology."

Asked on whether he owns a laptop, the singer gave an affirmative answer, saying, "Yeah, I got a laptop, but that's the only way you can get in touch [with me], I don't ever pick up a phone. [E-mail] is the only way. I don't do Facebook, I don't do any of that sh-t. I know I've got several Phil Anselmo pages, and they're all fake."

During the rest of the chat, Anselmo addressed the upcoming 10th anniversary of Dimebag Darrell's death, saying that "it's a life of mourning. Every year gets tougher. Every year gets tougher. There ain't one f--king thing about losing Darrell that's gotten easier. It's miserable. And that's all I can say."

The interview was packed to the gills with cool stuff, as the singer has also addressed his recent "I'm Broken" performance with Black Label Society and bassist Rex Brown. Although the overall experience was great for Phil, he didn't hesitate to admit that his voice "sucked."

"It felt great. The voice didn't feel great, because I always have that first-week blues. I'm still breaking in the fh-king throat. And then I'm coming from singing the Illegals stuff. It's, like, 'Ah, sh-t.'

"I thought I sucked," Phil added. "I thought [Zakk] was great, I thought his band was great. But the moment itself was fun... incredible. And it's been a long-a-s f--king time since I've seen audience go that bananas and sound that loud. It was f--king loud. A great experience. I loved it."

Phil also discussed the cool reason behind growing a beard, which he will soon cut off, as well as his renowned passion of underground music. Watch the full interview in the clip below.
