Pink Floyd: 'Dark Side Of The Moon' Named Greatest Album Cover
Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" has been voted the greatest album cover of all time, in a recent poll. The 1973 album beat the likes of Nirvana's "Nevermind" and The Beatles' "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" in a survey done by MusicRadar. "The Floyd cover is a reminder of a time when sleeve art meant more than a jpeg a couple of hundred pixels wide in your iTunes library", said Will Groves, editor of MusicRadar.com. Pink Floyd's "Animals" album also made the top-10 of the poll. Meanwhile, Pink Floyd's Roger Waters and David Gilmour reunited on stage at a recent gig in London (May 12).
