The new P.O.D. album will include a bonus DVD Playstation 2 game featuring one of their songs not featured on the album.
P.O.D. recorded 'Space' for the Playstation game Amplitude.
Amplitude allows you to break featured songs down into individual tracks and remix them. Other artists featured in the game include Garbage, David Bowie, BT, Weezer, Pink, Dieselboy, Blink 182 and Run DMC.
The cutdown version with the POD album will only include their song 'Space' plus a 50 minute documentary titled 'Inside P.O.D. Culture'.
"This idea came out of us wanting to do everything possible to give back to our fans. With all the talk about downloading and CD prices, all we've ever cared about is giving our fans the best. We've been working for most of the year to release a fully playable video game with our record. We were very fortunate that Atlantic and Sony were willing to take this risk with us. 'Payable On Death' is our best record ever and with the PlayStation game, the art cards and all the other things we're doing, our fans will get something big... something never done before in music."
In Australia the first 15,000 copies will come with the Playstation bonus.
Payable On Death will be released November 3.
