British rockers Razorlight's US tour has started badly - frontman Johnny Borrell lost his guitar on the flight from his native England.
Due to new security measures imposed following a terrorist alert earlier this month, musicians are being forced to put their instruments in the airplane holds instead of carrying them as hand luggage.
When
Borrell tried to pick up his one-of-a kind guitar after arriving in New York it had disappeared. It's the second blow for the Razorlight; they were due to tour the US with fellow Brits Keane, but the latter pulled out after singer
Tom Chaplin was admitted to rehabilitation for drug and alcohol problems.
Borrell says, "So there's that (Keane pulling out). Plus, somebody lost my guitar at the airport today. It's the only one in the world like it. So as you can tell, there's a few things still up in the air."
Razorlight admit they may be forced to cancel some of their planned joint dates with Keane.
