"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson has said he wants to reignite his music career.
The 24-year-old played several live gigs before finding fame in the vampire franchise.
One of his songs also featured on the soundtrack to the original movie.
Pattinson said he struggled to find time to pursue his musical interests due to his hectic filming schedule, but admitted he was keen to get back on stage.
He gets a hard time. Yes, Twilight is horrific, blahblahblah, but at least it's so bad it's funny. I actually really liked Pattinson as Cedric, and he's good in Water For Elephants. But based on that video, he should stick to acting...

I don't have a problem with this guy, he's what all guys actually want to be inside, millions of girls love him, hes wealthy and famous and does have some guitar talent, and his voice is really unique. I don't like Twilight like everyone else here, but at least I'm open minded enough to enjoy some decent music even if its by the guy from Twilight.

His song Never Think is really good, I like his voice. He was a character in Twilight, not going to judge him from that. This kind of music wouldn't make big pop songs and I don't think he'd make pop songs for the sake of it. He's really into his music. This is bullshit. I don't even want to argue about this guy's music, but rejecting people's opinions because they're not famous is something I'd like to see stopped. There are tons of artists out there that are better than the most famous ones, so are you going to take Justin Bieber's word on music over Bomb The Music Industry's just because he's more famous?
The song from the soundtrack, i think it's called "never think" was absolutely fantastic. It's mellow, and the way he kinda sing/mumbles is very emotive.
I agree that I think this guy is a very overrated actor (of course, this is just based off of the "Twilight" films and "Remember Me" which are both boring in my opinion, and I have actually heard very good things about "Water for Elephants" so I might be speaking too soon). But I do have all of the soundtracks to all of the "Twilight" films because they all have great music, especially the ones to the 2nd and 3rd films. And Robert Pattinson's contributions are actually not too bad on the first one. While the music is a little bland to me, his voice is surprisingly soulful. Good luck to him in music, and here's hoping that he works on the songwriting to better utilize his voice.

Agreed. everyone who says that Pattinson sucks just says it so they can sound guitar player tough guy, when in reality they have no real opinion. Just because someone isn't famous doesn't mean they can't have a good opinion, or know what makes music good and what doesn't.
Many music majors and music professors aren't famous musicians, but many of them are better than most pop stars.

I want to restart his movie career and help him make better choices! But for real, I dont know why people hate on him so much, other than because half of the users on this site are under the age of 16. I have nothing against the guy. He was great in Remember Me and his music is quite good for the most part. Plus he had a role in Harry Potter therefore I'm not aloud to hate on him too much.

Besides that I hate the twilight movies. I see nothing wrong with this music. Some songs are quite generic. But I really like the blues feel in some songs, feels really old-school in contrast to other acoustic guitar wielding singer/songwriters that have annoyed me in the past years.
I would love to see some more evolved songs from this guy. Though I'm a metalhead at heart this is actually better than some generic Metalbands that I've heard, sounds honest.
