In a newsletter sent out yesterday, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame announced the official list of artists that will be inducted into the museum at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony this April.

Little Anthony & the Imperials
Metallica
Run-D.M.C.
Bobby Womack
The Early Influence Category Inductee Will Be:
Wanda Jackson
The Sidemen Category Inductees Are:
Bill Black
DJ Fontana
Spooner Oldham
The inductees where chosen by 600 voters from the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Foundation. Artists are only eligible for induction twenty-five years after the release of their first recording.
The above artists will be inducted into the museum on April 4, 2009. Tickets to the Induction Ceremony will go on sale to Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Members from Thursday, January 22 to Friday, January 23. Rock Hall members can purchase tickets by calling (216) 515-1999 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on January 22 and 23.
After that more pre-sale tickets will be available on Saturday, January 24 at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and Museum Box Office. Finally, tickets will go on sale to the public at 10:00am on Monday, January 26 through Ticketmaster.
Tickets will be priced $35 and $75 and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Because of the demand for this event, there will be a two-ticket limit on all orders. The induction ceremony will also be broadcast live on Fuse and on Fuse.tv.
Presenters and performers have yet to be announced.
