Scott Stapp Tries To Stop Selling His Sex Video

Former Creed singer Scott Stapp is suing in an effort to stop a California company from selling or promoting a sex video featuring himself, Kid Rock and four women.

The federal lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday against World Wide Red Light District, is similar to one Kid Rock's lawyers brought last month in Detroit.

A U.S. District Court judge there has signed a temporary order barring the company from distributing or promoting any portion of the tape, including a 40-second preview clip that was previously displayed on Red Light District's web sites.

Stapp's lawsuit alleges that two tapes, described as a "video diary" of his 1999 concert tour, were stolen from a safe at his house. The suit states Red Light District violated his trademark and privacy rights, causing him embarrassment, pain, suffering and emotional distress.

wow...i don't even know a good response to a freakin' Scott Stapp SEX TAPE. celebrities need to stop taping their sexual excursions...it seems the sex tapes always end up getting stolen.

I like how they add "pain" to the list of things he's suffering from the sale of the tape...only adding to his annoying angsty-christian image.

ha..i dont know, i read an interview with Mark Tremonti and apperently him and the rest of the ex-Creed band members want Stapp to burn in hell. Maybe they're overexagerating, maybe he's a really nice guy. If not, then let him get what he deserves.

thats true... look how much Tremonti has changed since Creed. in "open your eyes" he f*cking let loose like i'd never seen before! the reason for that is that Stapp wanted to keep the image of a clean, christian rock band. Tremonti NEVER solo'd w/ Creed. if he did, it was way too short and way too easy(with arms wide open). he's finally free to do all the f*ckin awesome guitar stuff he wants. don't get me wrong, Stapp has a great voice, but if ANYONE ever tried to limit my musical ability, i'd want the tyrannical bitch to burn in hell as well.
