Sheryl Crow's previously announced spring warm-up dates will segue straight into her extensive world tour to support her new album, "Detours."
Since last check, the nine-time Grammy winner has added another half-dozen North American shows to the fold, including a performance at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis. She's scheduled to kick things off with a handful of theater dates in late April and then move into amphitheaters in May, and will also headline an April 25 show at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
The singer/songwriter will follow the North American outing with a two-week European jaunt, details for which can be found at her website.
Crow dropped her sixth album, "Detours," last month and snagged the No. 2 spot on The Billboard 200. The record marks the return of producer Bill Bottrell, who helmed Crow's 1993 debut, "Tuesday Night Music Club," which reached seven-times platinum status and earned three Grammy awards.
