Pieces of rock history are featured in an upcoming auction to benefit The Racehorse Sanctuary, a UK charity dedicated to rehabilitating, re-schooling and securing good homes for ex-racehorses. Deborah Bonham - sister of Led Zeppelin's John Bonham - is a trustee for the charity, and will be performing a benefit show this Friday in Sussex, England, as well as running the auction. Among the items available to be bid on is a drum skin from Zeppelin's 02 Arena show, signed by all 4 members of the band. Reserve price for the Led Zeppelin drum skin starts at 1,500. Other items include:
  • The Doors Platinum Disc (10x Platinum)
  • Fleetwood Mac - John McVie's 1977 Rumours Tour Jacket
  • Paul Rodgers Signed CDs
  • Multiple signed Drum skin from John Bonham LA Memorial including drummers from: AC/DC, GNR, Red Hot Chillis, Tool, The Firm, Foreigner, Ozzy, Whitesnake, Bonham, Dio and many more Bids for the items can be made in person this Friday, November 12th at the Charity Concert at Hurtwood Park Polo Country Club in Surrey, or by email: Email bids: info@racehorsesanctuary.org Bidding closes November 27th.
