Slash Figure

According to press release, KnuckleBonz, Inc. announced their plans to create a Slash sculpture for the Guitar Hero Limited Edition collectible figure series. The Guitar Hero series is focused on capturing the image of legendary musical icons of both past and present in detailed limited edition sculptures. The Slash figure will be created using a skilled team of artists to sculpt his likeness and be cast in a poly-resin. The production will be hand-painted in fine detail. All figures in the Guitar Hero series are limited editions. Slash’s figure will be very exclusive with only 3000 pieces being created. Each sculpture will be hand numbered and include a wooden display base.

“Slash is one of today’s reigning guitar heroes,” states Tony Simerman, President and Creative Director of KnuckleBonz, Inc. “He is a true and timeless musician and his talent and tone that first impressed fans in the '80s continues to win new rock fans today. His riffs on the recently released Velvet Revolver (album) Contraband are some of his best ever. It’s a big honor for us to add Slash to the Guitar Hero sculpture series,” says Simerman.

The sculpture will display the artist with his trademark Gibson Les Paul and his top hat. “Combining Slash’s unique style and image with his legendary status as a guitar hero, makes him a particularly great subject for the series,” says Simerman.

The Slash limited edition sculpture is projected to be available in February 2005. The exact date of availability will be announced at a later date. The figure can be purchased via guitarhero.net. Slash is God and i will be using this figure as a sculpture to worship to instead of just bowing down to the tv screen whilst i play a Guns N Roses DVD every day. Cant wait

My good friend Narmi, waaa..y too much is an understatement. My idea of heaven would be jamming with slash, who coincidently is God in my religion otherwise known as Slashism. I think Velvet Revolver rock but i can see why you may not like them. They are really only for specific people who either like that music or are Slashists like myself. Anyhoo I cant wait for the figure to be the new centre-piece of my shrine to Slash

Look, yea slash is good. I like him.

I never heard a bunch of people hate on slash like they have here... MAN! People get over it... Slash is awesome... yeah there are some people better than him, but I am almost completely sure none of you guys can play anywhere close to the greatness of Slash's playing! So stop complaining about his playing, untill you get better than him!

Ok, first of all, Id say nothingface187 is an asshole for dissing Slash. You are obviously an asshole ureself, who knows nothing about soloing, improvising on the guitar and obviously has never heard any GnR or the Michael Jackson 1995 MTV Awards. Second this is Jimmy Page is better than Slash, but Slash is still a legend. Thirdly, Scott Weiland is a dodgy weirdo with a nazi costume on whom I do h8, and Slash is too good to be in a band like Velvet Revolver!!
