There are millions of people that aren't going to sing for them.

If you haven't noticed, the articles about VR, GNR, Audioslave, Rage, and Metallica get way more comments than any other articles. That means they also get way more hits, which demonstates fan interest. Maybe if you don't like the articles, you should stop reading/commenting on them, which would result in U.G. not writing non-articles about these bands.

Mark Arm? I'm a huge mudhoney fan but I wouldn't want to see this happen and either would Mark Arm. Green River broke up because Mark Arm wanted to do less radio friendly stuff and a few of the other band members wanted a more commercial sound so they formed motherlovebone and mark started up mudhoney. I think he would sound great with VR, but he prefers doing garage rock just like the stooges. I have mudhoneys new album and it's pretty good and I wouldn't want to see them break up over something like this.

Anyway, good to hear the direction ther'ye takin, i was afraid they'd get someone within Scotts range. I think he performed brilliantly on some songs, but most of the time the music sorta lost its "edge" when Scott came in, and the band had to sorta work with his voice. But anyway, whatever, go ahead and pick a singer, a good one

I think basically 80% of Contraband songs sound EXACTLY the same... listen to 'Sucker Train Blues' and 'Dirty Little Thing'... Slither, Fall To Pieces, and Loving The Alien stand out. That's about it.

Libertad, while more unstable and questionable, I believe was better.

Didn't have Slither or Fall To Pieces, though . those songs are amazing. Made up for it was SBQM, The Last Fight, PD&Etc.... ah. I don't even know.

That's the most ridiculous post on this page, Duff is one of the greatest rock bassist of our time and Dave is the perfect rhythm guitarist for Vr, Slash couldn't do it without them two and the fact that he has never made more than one album with the same band without Duff kinda proves that, theres no need to replace Matt either, he's a very great drummer and finding a better drummer (which as Slash's book proves wont happen) would be a waste of time.

As I said before Dave is a great rhythm guitarist, if you listen to any record with Slash (except the ones with Gilby) Slash doesn't do alot of rhythm work and he always relies on the other guitarist but then does an amazing solo, it's the structure of most of his work, also Matt is a great drummer although his work on UYI I and II is better than his Vr work.
