Slipknot's Sid Wilson Wheelchair-Bound After Breaking Both Heels

Dj Sid Wilson of Slipknot broke both of his heels at the first show of the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival on July 9 in Auburn, Washington and has been forced to wear casts on both legs. He apparently jumped off one of the stages in the background of Slipknot's stage set and landed incorrectly. Despite having casts on both legs, Sid has vowed to play all shows on the Rockstar Energy tour, even if it means getting around in a wheelchair, as was the case at last night's (Saturday, July 12) concert in Mountain View, California (pictures by Burningpoop: Picture #1, Picture #2).

Fan-filmed video footage of Slipknot performing its new single, "Psychosocial", live for the first time ever this past Wednesday night (July 9) at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington can be viewed here (clip uploaded by YouTube user "skudave").

The band's video for "Psychosocial" will premiere on MTV's "F'N MTV" program on Friday, July 18 at 8:00 p.m. EST.

Slipknot's new album, "All Hope Is Gone", will arrive on August 26 via Roadrunner Records. The title track was made available last month, while "Psychosocial" arrived at rock radio on June 30.

Last time i heard Sid do summat this bad was at a concert a while back. he jumped of a balcony rather high up, in the crowd opened up when he jumped, n he landed on the concrete. Dunno if its true tho

sid is my favorite member of the band. like someone else said, hes seems so average and normal in the interviews, but once he gets that mask on, he goes completely insane. thats one of the reasons i love slipknot. watching them on stage is like watching a bunch of animals, and sid is the most crazy, haha. he really does add a lot to the music, mostly on the first two albums. the scratching in surfacing and liberate and people=shit and such.....insane....

I like Slipknot and all, but after their firts album, they could've gotten rid of him, and Pinhead(Craig I believe), and it'd be really hard to tell the difference in the music.
