Ron Wood (currently of the Rolling Stones) has stated that he has faith in troubled star Amy Winehouse. In a recent interview he has stated:
"I have faith in Amy. I knew her voice would save her anyway. I think we all go through that phase where you underestimate your own talent, what you're really contributing."
This should come as great advice to Winehouse, as Wood is a former alcoholic, heroin, and cocaine addict. The legendary guitarist of both the Faces and the Rolling Stones also added, "
I feel sorry for Amy's lifestyle in a way. She flits here, there and everywhere and she's dragged this way and that. Amy can go over to the dark side because the people she surrounds herself with are not the best at times. She needs to be much more careful about how her lifestyle reflects on her stage performance."
Winehouse just recently moved residences and has agreed to treatment. No word on whether the above staements have reached the star. Fellow Stones guitarist, Keith Richards, has also said he wishes Amy would clean herself up.
